Do natural nails need to breathe?

Often you’ll find the argument that you should remove the polish or pattern for at least a week to month to relieve and strengthen, but there’s no point. Today, your nail supply expert Maryton will explain to you whether natural nails need to breathe.

In fact, natural nails themselves don’t need to breathe. Dead like hair, the only “living” part of your nail is the matrix, everything that comes out has no life! And it’s the same with the feet, your toes are the same.

Whether you wear polish or artificial ones, you help protect them from outside influences. Because it makes no mistake, the quality of the keratin scales that compose them is directly linked to your nature and the products you use on a daily basis.

The only thing you can give them more is nothing but good nutrition that they take with them in the matrix of the fingers. You may be able to influence it with your diet and nourishing or massage treatment.

Know that in prosthetics it is a bad use of the file which is often responsible for lesions. A too violent preparation refines the thickness no doubt about it, but it has nothing to do with the material you put on afterwards.

In addition, I advise you to invest in a complete professional manicure kit to care for your nails!
